In addition, the increase in the thickness of the cover layer is also conducive to improving the impact resistance and wear resistance of the rubber conveyor belt, especially now that the cotton canvas belt core has been replaced by a synthetic fiber fabric belt core, and the performance of the belt core has been greatly improved, while the thickness is relatively high. Thinning, in order to improve the overall performance of the belt, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the cover layer accordingly, in order to give full play to its advantages and improve the service life of the conveyor belt, but the excessive thickness of the lower cover layer will make the running resistance of the heavy heat-resistant conveyor belt change. Large, this point needs attention; the running resistance of the heat-resistant conveyor belt becomes larger.
